Briefing
It's 1932. The Great Depression is choking Sydney. The Workers Federation has hired you to investigate the death of Jack Malone, union organiser. He was found dead last night at the base of a wharf crane. The foreman says he fell. The workers say he was pushed. Walk the waterfront, read the evidence left in the city's stones and signs, and find the truth before it's buried with him. Ten locations. One killer. The harbour remembers everything.
The Trail
Begin at King Street Wharf as the morning fog rolls off the harbour. Cross the historic Pyrmont Bridge, still the world’s oldest electrically operated swingspan, where a union foreman’s story begins to crack. Wind south through the lawns of Tumbalong Park, where workers once gathered in protest. Follow the evidence east into the tightly-packed streets of Chinatown, where the trail’s final secrets are buried between the neon signs and the dumpling steam.
